Below is the link to our SCCC Zoom Book Reading Club’s Tuesday, May 27 meeting at 7:00. We will discuss Chapter 3, entitled “Temperature, Water Chemistry, and [Trout] Growth” in Tom Rosenbauer’s book The Orvis Guide to Finding Trout.
Gems like the following quote abound in Tom’s book: “Water temperature is everything to trout. Like most cold-blooded animals, they are stenothermic, or adapted to a narrow range of temperatures. For most trout, the range they can survive is from the freezing point of water up to the high 70s.”
