It’s that time again: time for the bi-weekly SCCC Zoom Book Club where we read and discuss informative and helpful fly fishing books by famous authors. This Tuesday, August 19, at 7:00, we will conclude Tom Rosenbauer’s newest book, The Orvis Guide to Finding Trout, chapters 9 (“Big Rivers and Tiny Streams”) and 10 (“Parting Thoughts”).
Teaser Quote: “When fly fishers who have spent their lives on ‘average’ trout streams encounter a large river for the first time, one that stretches beyond anyone’s longest cast and doesn’t look like it could be waded from one bank to the other anywhere, they panic.”

If you are unable to attend Tuesday’s meeting, keep us in mind for the September 2 meeting where we will begin discussing chapters 1 through 3 of Virginia Houston’s fly fishing mystery entitled Dead Frenzy.
